Bosworth Road, Wanoma Way, Parson Lane, and Reeds Way are among the neighborhood’s most desirable addresses. Tom Nevers East, closer to Siasconset, offers some of the most elevated and private positions.
The lifestyle in Tom Nevers is defined by space, privacy, and the ocean. Tom Nevers Beach stretches along the southeastern shore with strong south-shore surf and wide, uncrowded sand. Tom Nevers Field provides a community gathering point with a playground, basketball courts, and softball fields - one of the few recreational amenities in this part of the island and a draw for families. The neighborhood’s interior is a mix of open moors and mature wooded areas, which gives many properties a sense of genuine seclusion even during the summer season. Milestone Road connects Tom Nevers to both Town to the west and Siasconset to the east, though a car is necessary for daily life - this is not a walkable or bikeable neighborhood.

On a per-square-foot and per-acre basis, Tom Nevers consistently offers more than any other ocean-side neighborhood on Nantucket - and the gap has widened as harbor and in-town neighborhoods have appreciated more aggressively. The trade-off is distance: Tom Nevers requires a car, and the drive to Town or to the south shore beaches west of Surfside adds time to daily life.
